The pack appreciates all of its volunteers! It is the volunteers from within our pack who perform all of the pack’s and dens’ leadership and activity coordination. If you are interested in volunteering for the pack or for your den, please let your den leader know. More help from you, in any amount, means a better program for our scouts. If every Pack 640 parent volunteered an hour of time per year, we would have about 100 hours of assistance to apply toward quality program activities for our scouts!

The pack always has specific events and tasks that need coordination and execution - we can match an event or task to your talents and time availability. There are also many volunteer opportunities at the den level.

Please let your den leader know if you have any amount of time you can spend helping the pack or your den. You can also email the pack. Many hands make light work!

Positions needing a volunteer:

Committee Chair	Our pack's current committee chair has a cub scout who will be crossing over into boy scouts in less than a year. The pack is looking for someone to train to take over this essential position. To ease the transition, the current committee chair will train a successor until February 2011.
Pack Treasurer	Our pack's current treasurer has a cub scout who will be crossing over into boy scouts in less than a year. The pack is looking for someone to train to take over this essential position.
Pack Training Coordinator	Our pack is looking for someone to keep track of the training needs and training course completion for our pack leaders. For example, informing pack leadership of upcoming training classes that are being offered by the Denver Area Council or other local sources, reminding pack leaders of required training that is still pending, etc.
Hospitality Coordinator	Our pack is looking for someone who will handle our pack's hopitality and gratuity needs. For example: sending thank you notes to presenters/entertainers that provide a service for our pack, coordinating refreshments if the pack chooses to offer them at an event, etc.
