Even though the pack doesn't meet during the summer (although some dens may choose to hold meetings in the summer months), there are still plenty of fun cub scout activities. Also keep an eye on the District and Council events for summer fun. The pack holds the following events that are considered part of the summertime event list. More details can be found in the pack calendar on Scouttrack, and will also be forward out via Scouttrack email as the event dates draw near.

Shining Light Across America Celebration, Dick Sporting Goods Stadium. This is an overnight camping event; includes a Colorado Rapids soccer game & a live stadium JumboTron broadcast of the 100-years celebration taking place at the National Scout Jamboree in Fort AP Hill, VA. Families should register individually in advance on the Denver Area Council website. Advance coordination will ensure Pack 640 attendees can camp together. |

Scouts can earn the Summertime Pack Award Pin by participating in three or more of the above summertime activities. When your scout earns a Summertime Pack Award Pin, please be sure to log it in Scouttrack so that it can be purchased and awarded at a pack meeting. |
