The Scout Show is a scouting expo where Denver area scouts can participate in fun activities, meet other packs and troops, and see what they do for fun. The pack is also running a booth at the Scout Show this year - details will be provided in the near future.

SCOUT SHOW DISCOUNT CARD SALES

The Scout Show card sale begins in early March. This is one of the pack's main fundraisers. Each card is a discount card for certain local merchants and services. The card provides unlimited uses of the specified discounts at specified merchants for an entire year. A scout in uniform (girl scouts, too) enjoy free admission to the Scout Show. Family and friends of a uniformed scout must present a Scout Show discount card for admission to the Show. Each year we try to provide multiple opportunities for storefront sales, although location availability is sometimes limited. Participation at a storefront sale is an easy way to sell tickets. The duration of each storefront sale is handled in sales shifts assigned by den. Please contact your den leader for the shift assigned to your den.

Money for sold cards, and unsold cards, are due at the April leader meeting!

If you do not have money collected for sold cards and/or unsold cards to turn in at the April leader meeting, or if you have lost unsold cards, you are responsible for the cost of those cards. In this situation, once you have paid the pack for lost, unpaid, or unreturned cards, you can continue to sell any found or unsold cards still in your possession to reimburse yourself for the cost. The Denver Area Council has a firm deadline the pack must meet for closeout of the cards sales.

PRIZE PROGRAM

There is also a prize program for card sales, similar to the popcorn prize program. Please see the prize flyer for details on the specific prizes and the sales structure for the prizes. There are more cards available to sell for scouts who have their eyes on a particular prize. Please contact your den leader to obtain more cards.
